How to get from Cesky Krumlov to Vienna

There are several ways how to travel from Cesky Krumlov to Vienna.

Prices of all three options are very similar and the biggest difference is the time it takes.

Train

To get from Cesky Krumlov to Vienna by train, you need to take at least 3 trains:

• Cesky Krumlov - Ceske Budejovice
• Ceske Budejovice - Linz
• Linz - Vienna

The average time is 5 hours and 45 minutes (plus the time necessary to get from your hotel to train station and vice versa)

Combination of bus and train 

A little bit faster option is replacing the first slow train connection by a bus connection:

• bus Cesky Krumlov - Ceske Budejovice (Kaplice-Nadrazi)
• train Ceske Budejovice (Kaplice) - Linz
• train Linz - Vienna

This journey takes 5 hours in average (plus the time necessary to get from your hotel to train station and vice versa)

Door-to-door shuttle service
